Offshore IRC 52 for $199,000, amazing value and loads of updated equipment and sails (6 new sails). Frantic is certainly user friendly, her interior volume includes a functional galley plus an enclosed head with an electric toilet and ample storage making her stand out from the crowd. Recent upgrades include a new Carbon mast and standing rigging, new Yanmar engine and sail drive plus upgraded B & G H5000 instruments including two new MFD chart plotters and an auto pilot as well as a new water maker. A single hydraulic backstay keeps sailing easy as there are no runners to worry about. She might need a touch up here or there but this is one of the best buys we have seen. Cat 1 safety less rafts as well.

Remarks
Frantic was specifically designed by Jim Donovan for its original owner as an offshore boat within the TP52 box rule. The boat performs well offshore and has demonstrated this with its third place in the Transpac race from Los Angeles to Honolulu and its similar placings in the San Fernando and Rolex china sees races. The boat is set up for offshore racing with a galley, water maker, refrigerator, and enclosed head. There is ample storage space. There is a separate purpose-built navigation area. Frantic is currently located in Newcastle Australia and is IRC cat 1 ready.
